Statement of Faith

We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe God to be the loving sovereign creator and sustainer of the universe and all that it contains.

We believe God to be eternal, without beginning and without end.

We believe God to be self-existent, relying on nothing outside of Himself.

We believe God to be all-knowing, all-powerful, and to be present everywhere in His creation.

We believe God to be holy and unchanging.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death,

in His resurrection from the dead, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in

His personal return in power and glory.

We believe in the Bible to be the only inspired and infallible word of God.

The Bible is the absolute authority for the believer.

We believe that God created man in His own image. When Adam sinned Man’s God-like image was marred and

man’s sinful nature was passed-on to all succeeding generations.

We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the excceding

sinfulness of human nature.

We believe that justification is an act of God on the believer’s behalf solely on the merits of Christ.

Only by God’s grace and through faith are we saved.

We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost: the saved into resurrection of life, and the lost into eternal damnation.

We believe in the observance of Christ in baptism for believers and in the Lord’s Supper.

We believe in the unity of believers as one body under headship of Jesus Christ and that through His Spirit, He has given us

gifts and power so that we might fulfill the “Great Commission” by going into all the world and preaching the gospel to every creature.
